The rules, in plain words.

CoursifyYT organises public YouTube channels into ordered courses and adds study tools on top of videos you are already allowed to watch. It does not host, download, re-upload or re-encode video. Every video plays on YouTube, from YouTube, with the channel that made it credited and linked.

The syllabus — the ordering, the grouping and the reasoning — is ours. The videos are not, and we make no claim to them.

An account needs a working email address and nothing else. You are responsible for keeping access to it. We will never ask you for your password, and no email we send contains a link that both names your account and proves you own it.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion removes your notes, cards, quiz history, actions and synced courses; see the refunds page for what happens to a paid period.

Most of CoursifyYT runs without an account and without payment. Features that spend our AI budget carry allowances, published in full on the pricing page, and enforced by our servers. You may instead supply your own API keys, in which case those generations run on your own quota and we do not count them.

Do not attempt to work around an allowance — scripted requests, many accounts for one person, or automating the extension against our shared keys. We may refuse or suspend service for it. Everything that costs us nothing to produce — notes, transcripts, clips, screenshots and export — carries no limit and never will.

CoursifyYT Pro is a recurring subscription billed through Razorpay, weekly or monthly, at the price shown to you at checkout in your own currency. We never see or store your card details — the payment page is Razorpay's, and there is no card field anywhere in the extension or on our own pages.

Prices may change. A change never re-rates an existing subscription: you continue at the price you signed up at until you cancel, and any new price applies only from a new subscription. Allowances may be adjusted with notice; we will not reduce what is free today without saying so.

We hand out codes at events and to people we want to give Pro to. A code is one of two things, and pressing Apply works the same either way: it either grants you Pro for a fixed number of days, with no payment and no card, or it carries a discount that is applied by Razorpay at checkout.

Every code is single-use per account, capped in total, and expires. Granted Pro is a gift and not a subscription: it simply runs out on its date, it does not renew, nothing is charged when it ends, and there is nothing to cancel. We may revoke an unredeemed code at any time — a code is an invitation, not a purchase, and nothing you already redeemed is taken back by a revocation.

Codes are not transferable or resellable, and we may refuse one that is being shared publicly or redeemed in bulk. If a code you were given does not work, write to us with the code and we will sort it out.

CoursifyYT depends on YouTube and on third-party AI providers. Neither is ours, both change, and a course, transcript or generated artifact may become unavailable because of something upstream. The service is provided as-is; we do our best and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, or that AI-generated content is free of error. Nothing generated here is a substitute for the video it summarises.

We will post any material change here and, for subscribers, tell you by email before it takes effect.
