Can I just use my own API key?
Yes, and that is not going anywhere — your own keys stop the counting entirely. But a key pays the AI to write a quiz. It does not keep the quiz.
Does anything on Pro ever get deleted?
Your plan never expires a deck. Your browser keeps a rolling 60-day cache; past that, opening one rebuilds it instantly. Notes and clips are never evicted.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep Pro to the end of the period you paid for. After that the free 7-day window returns. Nothing you wrote yourself is touched.
What stays free, forever?
Notes, clips, screenshots, transcripts, Ask, export, progress, and autoplay in course order — signed out included. Nothing free today ever becomes paid.
