Export — Markdown, JSON, PDF, DOC

Markdown, JSON, PDF and DOC — with your checkboxes and progress baked in.

Any course can be downloaded in four formats, from both the popup and the in-page panel — byte-for-byte identical either way, and always reflecting your current checkbox progress.

The formats

Markdown (.md)

A GitHub-style task-list checklist: - [x] per video, grouped by discipline and module, with links. The most portable option — drops straight into Notion, Obsidian, a README or an issue.

JSON (.json)

The raw course tree: disciplines, modules, video IDs, titles and reasons. For scripting, importing elsewhere, or keeping a machine-readable backup.

PDF (.pdf)

Print-oriented: black on white, selectable text (not a screenshot), auto-paginated A4, with clickable video titles and checkboxes showing what you've completed.

DOC (.doc)

Opens in Word, Google Docs or Pages. Same content as the PDF, but editable — useful if you want to annotate the syllabus or hand it to a study group.

Exporting

    Open the course in the popup or the in-page panel.

    Click Export in the header and pick a format. The file downloads immediately — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Filter first, export after

Exports include the whole course. If you only want one discipline, an easier route is to export Markdown and delete the sections you don't need — the structure makes that a two-second edit.

Good to know

  • Progress is baked in. Whatever is ticked when you export is ticked in the document.
  • PDF text is selectable and searchable, because it's generated as real text rather than rendered to an image. Non-Latin characters in titles may be simplified in the PDF; Markdown and JSON keep them exactly.
  • Transcripts export separately, from the transcript panel or the batch card — they're not part of the course export. Transcripts →
