Progress & autoplay
Tick videos off, auto-complete at 80%, and let playback follow your course order.
Progress is a single shared record per channel. Tick a video off anywhere — the popup, the in-page panel, an export — and every other surface shows it immediately.
Three ways a video gets ticked
- Manually. Click the checkbox on any video row.
- Automatically at 80%. While you watch, the panel tracks the real player. Once you cross 80% of the video, it marks itself complete.
- Never automatically un-ticked. If you un-tick something during the same playthrough, it stays un-ticked. Auto-complete only ever adds.
Ad playback is ignored. YouTube plays ads through the same video element, so CoursifyYT checks it's actually your video before counting anything.
Autoplay next in course
A toggle in the panel's dark progress tracker, on by default. When a video ends, playback moves to the next video in your course order — the curriculum you built — rather than YouTube's suggestion.
- It follows the flattened course order: through a module, then to the next one.
- Turn it off and YouTube's own autoplay behaviour takes over as normal.
- The setting is per-browser and remembered.

How it's keyed
Progress is stored against the channel's canonical YouTube ID, not the URL you happened to use. That's why a course you opened from History stays in sync with the panel on youtube.com, even though you arrived from completely different directions.
It is local to this browser
